DELICIOUS!

Now that we have the wonderful, amazing, tantalizing, sauce of w o w, I’m reminding you about the Rebootizer Giveaway we’ve got going on at What Runs Lori.

Today’s 3rd Rebootizer ingredient is dandelion root extract. Let’s explore the benefits:

Dandelion Root Extract, found in the oxidizing, regenerating formula of Rebootizer, contains a wide number of pharmacologically active compounds. There is evidence to suggest it may have anti-inflammatory effects and assist with urinary tract infections in women. Dandelion is a powerful antioxidant and natural diuretic. All of these properties product great effects, coupled with the other active ingredients in Rebootizer packs.

I love the idea of a bit of rosemary in there! I’ve used orange juice in this kind of sauce too, and it works so well. It mellows the intensity of the cilantro some. So versatile too–for cilantro-haters, could do just parsley, in summer, could do basil instead; a bit of mint, a bit of arugula…

I have never understood cilantro-haters. Or why we bother to modify recipes for those too un-evolved to appreciate the greatness that is this herb. Seriously. If a person HATES cilantro, what flavors can they possibly appreciate?

Oh wow that sauce does look amazing! Cilantro is my favourite herb by far…and the combo with other ingredients sounds so fresh. Hope you’re having a great week :)

Allergic to walnuts, would you leave them out or substitute another nut? Just found your site. :-)

For those who can’t have walnuts, pine nuts are a yummy alternative, but they can get expensive. I don’t care for cilantro so I make it just with parsley. I also add fresh garlic. It goes on everything. On my Italian side they often use this for fish and boiled meats.

I just wanted to tell you how AWESOME this recipe is. Thank you so much for sharing it. I knew I would love it, the second I saw it, so I doubled it the first time I made it. I can’t believe I’m eating something so healthy as I douse my salad in in. :)
