Remember that Walnut Date Cacao Crust and Ganache leftover from the incredible Avocado & Ganache Cheesecake recipe posted a few days ago? Well, I needed to use both of those up and might as well use them together to create a decadent and totally snackable morsels…!

Paleo Chocolate Turtles
Paleo, raw, gluten, grain, dairy free. Makes 10 turtles if using 5 dates
- 5 dates (or as many as you’d like)
- 1 cup Walnut Date Cacao Crust/Crumble
- 1/2 cup Chocolate Ganache
- cinnamon and cayenne powder for sprinkling on top
Slice dates in half, removing pit, keeping date in tact (you’ll want to fill that space where the pit was).
Take a tablespoon of Walnut Date Cacao crumble and fill each date half with as much crumble as you’d like.
Top with a dollop of chocolate ganache and sprinkle with cinnamon and cayenne powder.
Photograph, try one, photograph, and repeat.
