Golden Milk with Turmeric, Ginger, and Cracked Black Pepper
If you're looking for a warm and comforting drink that's caffeine free and actually provides healing nutrients, this is your cup of tea! ;)With warming turmeric, ginger, and freshly cracked black pepper then slightly sweetened with honey, this makes for a truly nutritious and healing beverage.
- 2 cups milk of choice oat is where it's at!
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- ¼ tsp freshly grated ginger root or ¼ - ½ tsp ginger powder
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- ⅛ tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 tsp honey (or more, to taste) or maple syrup
- pinch salt
Whisk all ingredients in a small saucepan until fully combined.Stir/whisk constantly until milk is just beginning to boil. Remove from heat, taste and adjust honey if needed.Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon and black pepper then serve hot and enjoy.
