My Weekend

Posted byLori Posted onDecember 20, 2010 Comments14

Is there really another way to ever start a post?

This weekend, Sascha (the Boyfriend) and I, went to his cousin’s house for a champagne brunch feast. I was good though, I stayed sober as the Designated Driver. šŸ™‚

Among the feast items were:

Pancakes, scrambled eggs, (bacon fat) fried eggs, fresh fruit, thinly sliced prosciutto, ham, and smoked salmon, bagels and toast, cream cheese, oven roasted potatoes, and bacon. Oh, and obviously, champagne and juices.

There was so much food. And it was so good.

After stuffing ourselves silly, we headed home to set up the Christmas tree, and decorations, with Mama Samaan (Boyfriend’s mom). And play with my camera. šŸ˜‰

We also went out to dinner at a very very fancy restaurant. It’s been quite a long time since I’ve dressed up for an event… *sigh* I miss college.

Oh, and I also got my hair dyed. Soooooooo dark. šŸ™‚

I also did a TON of unbaking. But these are for another post…

Speaking of cookies… have you checked out the Twelve Days of Holiday Eats??? So many great recipes!

  1. sounds like fun!! Sober was one thing I was definitely not for most of the weekend, I think I had a little too much fun….

  2. What a lovely spread of food! Those eggs look so good! And, Lori, you look really nice! What a change for the hair, but I think it suites you well. Sasha is a very lucky man. šŸ™‚
