The Recipe I Stole

Posted byLori Posted onDecember 30, 2010 Comments9

I admit it. I stole a recipe.

I needed chocolate. I needed cookies. And I also needed a recipe.

I could say I needed balls but I found making them was easier than… nevermind. (I know someone out there gets this…)

With recipe hijacked, balls assembled, and chocolate melted, I went to work.

Roll, dip, and wait.

Alright, so technically I guess I didn’t steal the recipe, I borrowed it, since I shared these raw cookie dough bites with some friends, family, and myself (of course), and I’m providing you with the link…

Chocolate Dipped Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Balls

Courtesy Borrowed from Oh She Glows (aka- Oh-She-HasAwesomeRecipes). I went by the book, er, recipe for this one, only subbing almonds for the cashews. I’d suggest using cashews, though. Mine weren’t as creamy as they could have been…

Nevertheless, they were fun to eat. And share.

...and one very special one for me...

That concluded the recipe I stole borrowed post. Short, sweet, random, and written in 5 minutes (sorry). That’s what you get on this Thursday before New Year’s Eve. Tomorrow, goals will be made.

What about today has given you a challenge? mine was finding something to write about last minute. Poor little neglected blog. ha! 😉

  1. People love it when you borrow, beg, or steal recipes. That’s why we blog about them, right?

By the way, I’m glad you decided to make these balls. And share them with me. And I KNEW they had almonds! These taste buds just know.

  4. There’s no shame in stealing recipes. I do it all of the time. Haha! I haven’t really mastered making my own recipes yet. I am always too timid that something won’t turn out. 🙁
