MuscleEgg Protein Cake Batter Funfetti Waffles

You know those days when you wake up and think to yourself, ‘Self, all I really want today is a Funfetti Waffle,’ and then you make said Funfetti Waffle because, well, you CAN?
Yes, that happened.
With coffee, of course.
Super easy to make, fun to eat the batter (shhhhhh, if you don’t tell, I won’t tell), and high in protein and low in carbs. Quite delicious, too. Totally satisfying that Funfetti cake craving.
Well, satisfying for the most part. 😉
MuscleEgg Protein Cake Batter Funfetti Waffles
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 scoop Vanilla Vega Sport protein powder (or other protein of choice)
- 1 cup Cake Batter flavored MuscleEgg Egg Whites (or plain egg whites)
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- Sprinkles
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together, except sprinkles, adding a bit of water for slightly thin consistency, as needed -not too thin, not too thick, looking for regular pancake consistency. Fold in sprinkles, as many as you’d like.
Place 1-2 heaping spoonfuls into a heated waffle iron, wait, remove, repeat, and EAT!
Top with almond butter/peanut butter/OR tahini + Greek yogurt mixture, more sprinkles and devour.
