Today is Monday.

Today is the start of a new week.

Today is a great day to start a workout, continue a workout, feel amazing from a workout.

Today is Metabolic Monday.

Today is the start of looking leaner.

Today is a great day to sweat!

Today is your day to try out a new workout, an old workout, and just move.

And because I love you, today is a workout made with love, and made to work those muscles.

Get it done.

There’s no better time then today.

Body Weight Metabolic Monday

No equipment required. Go through each move once, timing yourself to eventually beat your best time. The first few exercises are warm-up/stretching moves to get your body ready for the rest, so make sure you go in order.

If you’re feelin’ frisky, run through this 2 or 3, maybe even 4(!) times.

  • 20 JUMPING JACKS
  • 20 HEEL-TO-BUTT “RUN”
  • 20 LATERAL JUMPS
  • 20 WALKING CROSS-OVER LUNGE (lunge with crossing right leg to the left, left leg to the right)
  • 20 LATERAL LUNGE/WALKING SIDEWAYS SQUAT
  • 20 MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS
  • 20 SIDE PLANK DIPS (LEFT)
  • 20 SUMO SQUATS
  • 20 SIDE PLANK DIPS (RIGHT)
  • 20 BURPEES
  • 20 LUNGE & FRONT KICK (LEFT)
  • 20 LUNGE & FRONT KICK (RIGHT)
  • 20 PUSH-UPS (whatever style you’d like- regular, incline, decline, staggered hand, dive bomber)

Push yourself hard for this one, especially if doing this once through. If some of the moves are too much, do less, do jumping jacks instead, or just skip- but keep moving! Get your heart rate up for this semi-short workout and get it done fast! Short and sweet workouts ROCK.
