The Spicy Blackberry Margarita
I’m fairly certain that the name of this post sums up every delectably tangy thought you could ever have about this drink.
But the name doesn’t tell you how fruity and perfect this drink really was. It was a hit-the-spot, slightly sweet, hint of tequila, dash of heat perfection that you want in a drink. Especially a drink with tequila.
The blackberries work exceptionally well in this drink but feel free to mix it up or swap them out. I can see raspberries, strawberries, or even goji berries being a fun addition to these!
Jalapeño: Don’t like spicy? Get out of here!
I’m kidding! Mostly. But if you don’t like spicy, of course you have the option of removing those little tongue-tingling rings of deliciousness. You do you, Boo.
For being a tequila cocktail, this drink really masked any bite from the spirit. It was an easy sipper, which in all honesty, is a blessing and a curse.
The easier it is to drink, the easier it is to drink. Ya know? I think you know.
But really, don’t you want a cup full of booze, lime juice, juicy blackberries, and spicy bits of jalapeno?! I do! (And I did!)
And wouldn’t you know, this is just in time for Cinco de Mayo! Funny how things just work out in life, isn’t it?
Alright, enough with the chit-chat, let’s drink!
